The simplified joint-stock company (SAS) Lemon Way was created in 2007 in Montreuil, France, with the aim of offering innovative payment solutions, by a team of payment experts, by bank, bank card, and online.
Lemon Way won the national research competition, Jeune Entreprise Innovante, in 2008, as well as several competitions since its creation. Lemon Way is an ACPR accredited payment institution in France, with the Interbank Code (CIB) 16568, as of 24 December, 2012; under the consumer brand “Lemon Way” for mobile payment, white label B2B for marketplaces. Funds are held by BNP Paribas in a holding account (escrow account for third-party funds).
Our payments services are used for eCommerce Websites, kitties and joint gifts, ticketing websites, individuals paying for services, classifieds websites between individuals, as well as new businesses dealing with social solidarity economics and the new economy that are writing the future: carpooling, carsharing between individuals, house sharing, cash on delivery, mobile payment, lending based crowdfunding, donation based crowdfunding, equity based crowdfunding.
