STOKR S.A. is excited to announce the partnership with pan-European payment institution, Lemonway S.A.S, and the recent registration with the French financial regulator Autorité de Control Prudentiel et de Resolution (ACPR) as payment service agent (agent prestataire de services de paiement). With this registration, STOKR is subject to the supervision of the ACPR and the Luxembourg financial regulator Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).

The registration of STOKR with the French banking watchdog ACPR is enabled by the partnership with Lemonway. As a result, STOKR will enable Euro payments on its investment platform stokr.io. Investors on STOKR can invest in Euro, as well as receive pay-outs in Euro, enabling a full end-to-end Euro payment gateway for security tokens. Moving forward, every issuer who is issuing security tokens on STOKR will receive a Lemonway merchant account, allowing them to raise Euro investments using SEPA direct debit, SEPA transfer, credit cards and debit cards.

With this game changing partnership, STOKR can now support Euro payments, whilst still offering payment solutions via cryptocurrencies like Ether, Tether, Gemini and Bitcoin. Additionally, this also strengthens STOKR’s commitment towards market accessibility and adoption of security tokens in Europe.
