FT 1000 Rankings: Lemonway sole French FinTech among top European growth companies

Publié le March 7, 2019

After topping the Fintech category in the ‘500 champions de la Croissance’ rankings sponsored by Les Échos/Statista (19th place overall), our spectacular growth is now garnering honours in the UK.

Lemonway made its debut appearance on the Financial Times’ FT 1000 list of fastest growing companies in Europe (2019 edition conducted with Statista). This ranking identifies the 1,000 Eurupean companies with the highest annual growth for the 2014-2017 period. The competition for a spot on the list was rather fiercer this time around—the last-ranked company’s growth rate was 37.7%, as compared to 34.6% last year.

Nonetheless, Lemonway made a very good showing in the classification with growth of over 1,000% for the period under scrutiny, outshining fellow French companies as the only FinTech from France on the list. Lemonway made its entrance within the top third, at 114th place overall.

"This recognition by the Financial Times buttresses our ambition to be the French standard-bearer for innovation in the realm of payments, and to strengthen our expertise on the European market, particularly in the UK and Germany."

said Damien Guermonprez, Executive Chairman of Lemonway.
